Adam Lambert started his career in the trenches of design and drafting, with over 20 years in multi-disciplinary engineering before founding CaddPro. Always tinkering with software, he dove into Visual Basic to customize MicroStation, making it faster for everyday tasks. In the early 2000s, as Bentley tools like OpenRoads and OpenRail emerged, Adam joined the Bentley Developer Network—spending the last 10-15 years collaborating closely with their team. This partnership fueled CaddPro’s growth, turning ideas into practical add-ins for complex problems, like bridge geometry that others couldn’t crack. CaddPro itself has evolved from a solo venture into a specialist consultancy, serving engineering firms, governments, and utilities worldwide. Key milestones include deep integrations with Bentley’s ecosystem and the launch of the Engineering Productivity Pack. Adam’s philosophy?
