Engineering Productivity Pack (EPP) – Terms and Conditions

(effective date: 21 April 2026, published at caddpro.com.au/terms)

Welcome! Thanks for choosing the Engineering Productivity Pack (EPP) from CaddPro Pty Ltd ABN: 12 083 076 297. We’ve kept these terms as straightforward as possible while still making sure everyone is protected. By installing, paying for, or using EPP, you’re agreeing to these terms.

1. What You’re Getting

  • EPP is a suite of productivity tools that enhances Bentley’s MicroStation‑platform applications, including MicroStation, OpenRoads, OpenRail, and OpenBuildings.
  • When you pay for a subscription, you’re getting a licence to use the software – you don’t own the software itself.
  • The licence includes updates, maintenance, and enhancements for the duration of your subscription (usually 12 months).
  • Some features of EPP rely on Microsoft Excel. A licensed, supported version of Microsoft Excel must be available for those features to work. Other spreadsheet software is not supported.

2. Supported Software

  • EPP is designed to run inside Bentley MicroStation‑platform applications.
  • CaddPro supports EPP on Bentley MicroStation CONNECT Edition and current releases only.
  • Older versions, including MicroStation V8i and earlier, are no longer supported.
  • EPP runs within your Bentley environment. It’s your responsibility to ensure you’re using supported versions of Bentley software and to review and check your outputs before they’re used or issued.

3. Licence Model

EPP works on a number of active MicroStation‑platform users honesty system:

  • Active MicroStation‑platform users = any individual who, at any time during the 12‑month subscription period, opens a MicroStation‑based application on a device where the EPP software is installed and available for use.
  • Site = your company or legal entity.
  • Region = a State within a country (e.g., Victoria, Australia).
  • Global = worldwide, across all company locations and offices.

How it works:

  1. At the start of each subscription, you let us know how many Bentley active MicroStation‑platform users you have.
  2. Our pricing is based on bands of users in your invoicing region (with data reported by Bentley’s licensing tool).
  3. You can install EPP on any computer worldwide within your company.
  4. EPP can be used across multiple offices or joint ventures, as long as they’re under your company’s control.
  5. Any number of MicroStation-platform users can use the software. We review and adjust usage at the anniversary date.

4. Pricing and Payment

  • All prices are in USD (unless we say otherwise).
  • Pricing is valid for a 12-month subscription term.
  • GST applies only to sales in Australia.
  • Payment of an invoice means you’ve accepted these terms.

5. Renewal

  • Each licence runs for 12 months.
  • To keep receiving updates, enhancements, and support, you’ll need to renew for another 12-month term.

To remain supported and operational, EPP must be kept reasonably up to date. Versions more than 12 months behind the current release may stop working until updated. Applying updates is your responsibility, and users may be notified if an update is required.

6. Updates to Terms

  • We may update these terms from time to time.
  • The most recent version will always be available at caddpro.com.au/terms.
  • By continuing to use EPP after changes are posted, you agree to the updated terms.

7. What We Promise (and don’t)

We promise:

  • EPP is developed with care to help you work faster with Bentley software.
  • We’ll provide updates and support during your subscription term.

We dont promise:

  • That EPP will always be 100% bug‑free or compatible with every future version of Bentley software.

Think of EPP like any other tool in your toolbox: it helps you get the job done, but you’re in control of the final work.

8. Liability

We need to be clear:

  • CaddPro is not liable for any losses, damages, costs, or claims that come from using (or being unable to use) EPP.
  • This includes direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential losses – whether from errors in the software, project delays, or unexpected outcomes.
  • You accept full responsibility for verifying the accuracy of any outputs created with EPP.

9. Ownership

  • All intellectual property rights in EPP remain with CaddPro Pty Ltd.
  • You own the outputs you create using EPP (designs, drawings, models, reports, etc.).

10. Disputes

  • If a dispute arises, it will be handled under Australian law and in an Australian court.
  • That said, we’d much rather sort things out with a conversation before it ever gets that far.

11. Wrapping Up

By paying for or using EPP, you agree to these terms.
If you don’t agree, please don’t use the software.
